An APR ID is a persistent identifier for a registry record. Issuance does not create, transfer, certify, or adjudicate legal personhood, identity, authorship, copyright, trademark, publicity rights, ownership, or licensing authority. Except where a specific verification method is displayed, information is an assertion supplied by the identified submitter.
APR is authoritative about the identity of its own records, their provenance, and what was asserted to it — and about nothing else. It does not adjudicate who owns a persona, a name, a voice, a likeness, or a body of work.
Registry record — self-declared by the registering agency. APR has not verified the claims on this page. Where APR does verify something, it will say which specific proposition was verified, by which method, and when. A record carrying no such statement carries no verification.
APR IDs are never reassigned. APR maintains resolution and tombstone records under its published continuity policy.
